A lovely farewell (the best gift..)

I wanted to write about this once I arrived in JB, but due to my busy schedule, I postponed it until now..

One thing I love the most about my previous workplace was - the people... Everyone in the faculty were nice and we were a big happy family. Especially my "Ahli Mesyuarat Tingkap" - that's we call our group - I think it was Mimah gave our group the name...

We always have our lunch together... I love our lunch time because it will be the time where we update each other with the office gossip - few people got the privilege to have special codename ('syasya', 'jojo', 'jojoNo2', 'roro', 'mimi')... They always teased me because I was always the first to call everyone for lunch.... (It was because I was the only one kat Level 3 laaa.. takut nanti korang tinggalkan I nak pegi lunch...) hehehehehhe..

We tried to have our monthly 'ladies nite out' as often as we can, especially if there's a celebration - birthdays, promotions, weddings, farewells... Even when most of us are married, we always try to find time to have fun together..

I was the eldest among them, but being with them doesn't make me feel like one. Most of the time, they came to see me for advise.. and even though at times I always buli or tipu-tipu gurau or laugh at them (especially Poja... heheehh), I always thought of them as my little sisters...

So when I left, those are the people I really really sad to say goodbye to. I cried on the last day - during our hugging & goodbye session (Sarah le yg start dulu nangis-nangis ni...). Then on the day I left Kuching, Suriati came to the airport to say goodbye and gave me their farewell gift...

I was surprised, and I LOVED it!! It was the only thing I wished I can have to remember all the things we shared, and they gave it to me...

It was a photobook of us...

There were photos of the younger us (ehemm.. younger me actually, yg masih slim time tu..)..

There were photos from our 'ladies nite/day out'...

Most importantly, photos of our lunch session...

And the one that made it more special, there's a page from every one of them (dgn ucapan-ucapan yang buat saya terharu...).

Yang sedang cuti belajar kat oversea pun ada menyumbang jugak...

And this was the last photo from the book. We took the photo for a farewell gift for a dear friend (ahli mesyuarat tingkap gak) who left to Pahang about a year ago.

And now it's in my farewell gift...

I missed them and wish them all the best of luck in the world...

and yes girls, this is one of the best gift ever!!
