My little helper & the finished product...

Firstly, I would like to wish "Happy New Year 2010" to all...

1st January was also my hubby's birthday... and this year I decided to bake the birthday cake for him... So I took leave on 31st Dec, so that I can start baking (cehh.. macam susah nak buat kek sampai kena amik cuti)... Thanks to my FB friends that gave me few recipe to try...

And as usual, Iman offered to help... Awal-awal pagi dah cakap kat Ibu, "Ibu, Iman toyom poyah kek hepi bey ayah..." (translate: Ibu, Iman tolong buat kek birthday Ayah)

And I let him helped.. Before this, everyone else's birthday is his birthday.. All birthday song will end with "Happy Birthday Izzul Iman Azmi"...

So this time, I got him involve in everything for Ayah's birthday. I got him to help me to warp the gift, helped him to write the birthday card (so cute!! forgot to snap a photo of the card...) & most importantly, teach him to sing the birthday song without his name in it!!

I didn't took any photo of the baking process and this was because I need to monitor what Iman was doing when he was "helping"... I have to make sure the measurement was right, and need to see in case he put "extra" ingredient in the mixer...

Luckily, he was a very good helper... and at the end, he did what little kid would do... Licking & eating the batter from the mixer...

Guess it was not enough, so he took the whole mixer...

It was fun... and finally on 1st January 2010, we presented Ayah the birthday cake...
