Bye Bye 2008...

In few hours, 2008 will be gone....

So what have I achieved this year??

Not much, my life still as normal as I think it should be..
But last few months, I made a decision that (I think..) will change my life...
Maybe in 2009 my so-called "normal" life will change to better & happier life...

Just see how it will be....

Baby Genius....?

It has been awhile since I wrote about Iman's progress..
Let me summarize his progress since last update..

1. He started to walk when he was 11 months old.
2. His favorite word now is "Fish".
3. He has this cute way of saying "Ibu".... only people have listen will know this cute sound..
4. He memorized the Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse theme song (the Hotdog song)... eventhough he cannot really sing it, but the melody is there...
5. He also like to watch TomTom Bak... always alert when the advertisement is on TV & waited for Uncle Aznil to said "Tom tom.." the he'll scream "BAKKKKK" & clapped his hand...
6. He even recognize Uncle Aznil when he saw him in the newspaper, magazine or other shows in TV...
   
7. He knows that he has to put away all his toys/books before he can go out.
8. He'll point to the TV and shake his head if he wants you to change channel. He'll keep shaking his head until he sees something he likes, only then he'll smile...
9. Iman suka dengar azan & munajat kat TV... even in the car, he'll only listen to the Munajat... so no music if he's in the car!
10. Iman dah boleh solat!! Seriously, he always joined me & hubby to pray... He'll take his own sejadah (praying mat - Ayah bought him a smaller one), follow what we do (rukuk, sujud, baca doa...), then helped Ayah to put back the sejadah...

He was busy playing with his uncle's notebook... he was handling it as if he knows what he was doing..

Ibu.... I still want to play Dynomite!!

He is a clever boy, isn't he???
And his Pak Ngah said "Mentang-mentang la Ibu & Ayah orang komputer, mcm pandai je pegang mouse..."

Then last night, he did something I never thought he will do...
I kept his slippers under the telephone table & his shoes on top of another cabinet. While I was watching TV, he climbed up the chair & took his shoes. He asked me to put his shoes on, and after walking few round around the TV area, he asked me to take it off.

Then he sat on my lap & I asked him, "Mana kasut Iman??"
He sat quietly and his eyes was on TV, so I looked around for the shoes and to my surprised, I saw this...

He put it there himself...

I know he did it himself because my brother was watching TV next to me, my dad was in the computer room & my mom was in the kitchen!
I told my mum about this and then both of us told him how clever he is & we kissed him until he screamed and ran to his Pak su... hahahahahah...


Iman...
Ibu doakan Iman jadi anak yang soleh & pandai... Mudah-Mudahan Iman jadi orang yang berjaya & berjasa kepada Ibu & Ayah. Amin...

i am.... Seductive and Ruthless???

I was reading one of my friend's post in her blog...

I was interested on her post, so I clicked on the website..

I typed my full name, then waited for the result...

(the word seductive makes me feel like Marilyn Monroe or Madonna... hahahahhahaaa....

and ruthless makes me think of Cruella from 101 Dalmations - ok la tu, not too evil la..  *wink wink*)

Hang Iman...

After I uploaded the photo of Iman the Thomas the other day, I remembered that I took another similar photo of Iman..

It was taken at R&R Ayer Keroh, on our way to Seremban to attend a wedding ceremony...

Funny huh.... ??

Iman as Thomas the Tank Engine....

As many people know, Iman is a big fan of Thomas the Tank engine...

He has lots of Thomas' stuff and he'll recognize Thomas for far..

Last Sunday, we went to tHe Spring and one of our favorite store - Poppies - have this Thomas' painting with a hole that you can put your face & took photos...

1st attempt: was distracted by other kids there...

2nd attempt: this time it was Grandma that distract him..

Finally... 

Then in JB, we found this Thomas ride... 

he was so excited when he saw this & jumped in!!

But the weird thing is, of all his Thomas' book, his favorite was the story of Toby... and there's not even one picture of Thomas in it!!

Ipanema.... i loike!!!

Since few weeks ago, I think that Iman need new slipper/sandals...

The old one does not fit him anymore... so kesian to see him walking with his toes coming out from the sandal...

So we have been in a quest to find him new slippers...

It was hard to find the right one... that is the one that we feel will be comfortable & (must be) cute for his feet... Some that we found was either too heavy or not so nice or too old-fashioned... (cerewet ibu Iman nih... ehheeheh)

But at last, we came across IPANEMA ... 

I wanted to buy him these since I first saw it, but the one that the stores have was a bit heavy...

Lastly, we find this design...

Cute eehhh.. and it was light (not very light la.. but OK for toodlers that just started walking...)

Actually I wanted to buy one for myself... But sadly no more my size...

The one I like is designed by top supermodel Gisele Bundcen..

She loved Ipanema sandals that she designed few for them and her collection is called Ipanema G2B
